Co-op Advertising Opportunities for Chamber Members

*** Business Crime and Robbery Prevention

Officer Neil Hansen of the North Seattle Precinct spoke at the March board and business networking meeting in regards to the recent burglaries in the neighborhood. The top advice he offered for preventing break-ins was: 1) go with your gut instinct and react if you think something is suspicious and 2) know your neighbors and have their phone numbers so that everyone can watch out for each other. Review these other prevention measures to make sure you are doing all you can to keep your business secure.

*** Anti-Graffiti and Tagging Resources

As part of a push to clean up graffiti and tagging in the Greenwood-Phinney neighborhood, the chamber, through a new program called “Art Up Greenwood-Phinney” is seeking business/building owners permission to have volunteers paint-out vandalism when it occurs on your building.
